Purchasing Land
1. Find the right block, 100+ acres, well priced, moderate to cool climate, mostly bush, on a hill.
The perfect block would be a a large landholding of 300+ acres, level, cleared ground (paddocks?) bordering the property, and central to the block would be a wooded hill.
2. Block must have planning permission. Must be able to build on the North side.
3. Council must be open to alternative design.
4. Stockpile supplies for construction. As much, for as cheap, as possible. Using as many recycled materials as possible. Obtain permission to build.
